Worthy Park Jamaica Rum is an authentic and traditional Jamaican rum and the first release under the Worthy Park range of bottlings. A blend of 100% copper pot-still rums that have been aging between 6-10 years; this blend has been created to showcase the unique complexity and distinctive taste that Worthy Park has to offer.

100% single estate product; batch distilled, aged, blended and bottled on site. Founded in 1670 and continuously owned and operated by the Clarke Family since 1918, Worthy Park is one of the last remaining Jamaican owned & operated sugar and Jamaican Rum pure single rum producers left on the island. Currently, Gordan Clarke (4th generation) sits at the helm, as Director, working and living on the property.

Located in St Catharine Parish, close to the geographical center of the island, northwest of Kingston, at an elevation of 1200ft, Worthy Park’s 12,000 acres estate grows all of its own sugar and process all of the subsequent molasses that goes into each bottle of pot-distilled, rum.

They even have enough sugar and molasses to share with distilleries around the island and beyond, who rely on that sweet, specific Jamaican nectar.

Tasting Notes Of Worthy Park Jamaica Rum

A natural, light amber color; the nose is punchy with upfront aromas of light tobacco and toasted oak with spicy fruit – raisins and plums. With time light notes of vanilla become evident. On the mouth luscious and tropical fruits with a soft, buttery and almost creamy texture. Dry and slightly bitter, soft tannins are rounded out by toasted oak and nutmeg. A hint of black pepper finished off with a touch of ginger as it lingers with it’s soft, dry finish.
