Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire have only gone and made their own cinnamon-flavoured whisky liqueur! Released in the USA in 2014, it’s finally made its way to our shores. As the name suggests, it’s plenty hot with cinnamon, though manages to keep some of the classic Jack Daniel’s character.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire has been eagerly anticipated ever since its 2014 US release. Combining the legendary No.7 with a fiery cinnamon liqueur, this is sweet and spicy with notes of vanilla. Best enjoyed on its own, slightly chilled.

To make Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, we pair our Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey with an equally delicious and unique cinnamon liqueur, which we make in Lynchburg and with a trusted bottling partner.

We start with our Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, charcoal-mellowed for smoothness and matured in our signature, hand-raised new American oak barrels. Then we blend our whiskey with a fiery liqueur of pure cinnamon, allspice, and spicy clove flavours to provide a balance of sweet heat while maintaining a smooth finish.

We explored a number of different cinnamon varieties before finding the right balance of the unique cinnamon type that is most complementary to Jack.

NOSE:

Cinnamon fireballs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Cinnamon is the focus and not much else makes its way through the spicy onslaught.

PALATE:

Sweet, spicy and alarmingly drinkable – much less fiery than those nose suggests. It has a big hit of cinnamon, a pleasant heat and lots of flavour, but doesn’t take the fire too far. It’s thick and oily in texture, with brown sugar and butter underneath the cinnamon and spice.

FINISH:

Cinnamon biscuits, more cereal and a hint of barrel char to balance out the sweetness.
