The 2016 Côte de Beaune had been bottled three weeks prior to my visit. To be honest, I did not quite get the nose, which I suspect might have been suffering some bottle shock. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, slightly grainy tannins, although it lacks a little substance on the finish. I will reserve judgment for now.
