Lastly (of the non-Hermitage 2011s), the 2011 Cornas Domaine de Saint Pierre is a knockout Cornas that does everything right. Medium to full-bodied, rich and textured, with classic creme de cassis, raspberry, licorice and tinges of vanilla (it is 100% Syrah aged 12 months in new oak) aromas and flavors, it can be consumed now, or cellared for a decade or more.
