This is a new mysterious single malt independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! This is a 25-year-old single malt that was distilled by one of the eight distilleries on the Isle of Islay – isn’t Caol Ila on that island?

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains, and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

There is an underlying sweet fruitiness on the nose; oranges and pink grapefruit are masked by waves of earthy peat smoke. There’s coke too, like ash from a blacksmith’s forge. The smoke is mellow, and it’s sweet toffee and licorice that lead followed by an oily maritime feel with a salty tang. The finish is oily with salty licorice, and sweet smoke that lingers and lingers and lingers.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition single malts, single grains, and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends.
