Tasting Notes Of Lighthouse Gin

Nose:

Flamed orange peel, freshly washed basil leaves, a touch of clean linen. Spicy cardamom adds some pep.

Palate:

A creamy, luxurious mouthfeel carries notes of aloe, caraway, sugared orange peels and Kaffir lime leaf.

Finish:

Sweet, floral vanilla and some tasty coconut notes.

Inspired by the spectacular Cape Palliser Lighthouse on the southernmost tip of the North Island of New Zealand, each bottle of Lighthouse Gin contains a unique blend of botanicals, including fresh zest from New Zealand Navel oranges and Yen Ben lemons. We handcraft our gin with water that travels from high in the Rimutaka Ranges, filtering down to a spring beside the breathtaking Wharekauhau Country Estate in Palliser Bay. The result is a pure, complex gin with magnificent citrus, a finely spiced creamy palate and a lingering finish. Perfect as a martini (dry, with a twist of lemon), or a classic Gin & Tonic.
