Evan Williams 1783 Bourbon honors the year that Evan Williams founded Kentucky’s First Distillery. Pulled from fewer than 300 barrels, this extra-aged small Batch Bourbon won the 2019 Consumers’ 2019 SIP Award. A superb Kentucky straight bourbon from Evan Williams, produced in small batches.

This small batch Bourbon is pulled from less than 200 barrels. It’s extra-aged and uses the same sour mash process and traditional recipe made popular by our namesake. Evan Williams 1783 is Heaven Hill’s “small batch” release that’s meant to elevate itself above the regular Evan Williams Black Label.

According to Heaven Hill’s web site the “Evan Williams 1783 is a small batch extra aged line extension of Evan Williams Black Label that is named after the year in which Evan Williams first established his distillery”.
