The wine has a beautiful garnet-red color. The nose is bursting with ripe red fruit aromas such as raspberry and crushed blackberry, as well as hints of spice and black pepper. In fact, its fresh, well-defined, aromatic bouquet approaches that of Cheval Blanc. The wine also proves to be well-balanced on the palate. It starts of full-bodied, round, and granular, with perfectly integrated oak showing on the middle palate. The intense aftertaste is as fresh as it is long.
