Heaven’s Door Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Heaven’s Door Straight Bourbon is a whiskey brand developed in collaboration with Bob Dylan. The bottles feature iron gates created by Dylan in his studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks, which were made from found objects from across America including “everything from farm equipment, children’s toys, kitchen utensils and antique firearms to chains, cogs, axes and wheels.” As for the whiskey, this is a straight bourbon distilled in Tennessee and is aged for “almost” seven years in new, charred American oak. Bottled at 90 proof, its availability will first be in Tennessee, Texas, California, Florida, New York, and Illinois with more markets to come.
A unique mash bill from Tennessee, our Bourbon utilizes 30% “small grains” to complement the character imparted from spending nearly 7 years in American oak barrels. The result is smooth and lasting with notes of vanilla and baked bread layered over a bed of toasted oak.
A succulent, harmonious bourbon that hits all the right notes at the right moments for the category; a study of equal parts elegance and power.
A rich, sweet and spicy bourbon from – as you’ve probably guessed from the name – Bob Dylan. The Heaven’s Door Straight Bourbon whiskey range is named after Dylan’s song, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, but the slew of awards already picked up by each whiskey show that it’s far from a gimmick. This bourbon, launched in 2018 and aged for at least eight years, has notes of vanilla, baked bread and toasted oak.
