Glen Scotia Victoriana is finished in charred-oak casks and bottled at 51.5%. This has notes of spice and vanilla with a smoky finish.

Each cask is chosen for its rare character and exceptional maturity. Finished in deeply charred oak, the result is an exceptionally smooth single malt whisky whose aroma and flavor work in harmony. Bottled in the traditional way straight from the cask and without filtration, its subtle wood and vanilla flavor is enhanced by a full-bodied spicy fruit aroma and mildly smokey aftertaste.

Victoriana is a non-age statement (NAS) Scotch from one of the last three remaining Campbeltown distilleries. It was introduced in 2015 as part of the distillery’s international rebranding. The casks were selected from its reserve cellar for their individual characteristics, then married together in a barrel that’s been given a heavy char. It’s bottled without chill-filtration.

Each cask of this Campbeltown Single Malt is selected for its rare character and exceptional maturity. Finished in deeply charred oak before bottling straight from the cask, this non-chill-filtered expression combines subtle wood and vanilla flavors with a full-bodied spicy fruit aroma. The nose is elegant with oak and creme brulee notes leading to caramelized fruit and polished oak. The palate is sweet and concentrated with blackcurrant jam, subtle wood, and vanilla, while the finish is clean and sweet with cocoa tones.

A 2015 release from Glen Scotia’s new (redesigned) range, Victoriana is made with whisky drawn from casks specially selected by their master blender, finished in heavily charred oak casks, and bottled at 51.5% ABV.



Dark again. An elegant nose with hints of oak driving the bouquet. Interesting creme brulee notes leading to generous caramelized fruits and finally polished oak.


Sweet and concentrated start with some jammy blackcurrant fruitiness. A big mid-palate. Typical tightening towards the back palate. Becomes more austere with water.
