Lustau Solera Gran Brandy is widely considered one of the finest producers of sherry in Jerez, Emilio Lustau’s bodega dates back to 1896, and began exporting in the 1950s. Much of the Spanish brandy and vermouth (“vermut”) tradition is tied to sherry production, and Lustau brings their winning combination of superior quality and approachable pricing to bear on both categories as readily as sherry.
Aged For More Than 15 Years. It Is The Result Of A Mixture Of Different Jerez Brandies, Aged In Barrels That Contained Mature Oloroso And Pedro Ximénez Sherries. Mahogany Colour With Golden Hues. Chocolate And Spice Aromas, With A Hint Of Nuts. An Intense And Nutty Flavour, Very Persistent And Complex On The Palate.
With an aging period of 15 years, Lustau’s Finest Selection is the result of a blend of different old Brandies from the House, aged in casks which previously contained Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez wines for between 40 and 50 years. The Lustau Finest Selection Brandy de Jerez is the result of a blend of Brandies aged in 40 & 50 years old casks seasoned with very Rare Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherries.
Tasting Notes Of Lustau Solera Gran Brandy
Mahogany color with golden hints. Intense aromas of dried plums, raisins and milk chocolate. Velvety mouthfeel. Burnt caramel and roasted nuts with black pepper and licorice in the finish.
