Don Q Gran Anejo Rum
Don Q Gran Anejo rum is produced at Destileria Serrallés in the town of Ponce in southern Puerto Rico. A blend of rums aged between 3 and 12 years old, this is a fantastic example of a rum that is dry yet has a sweet profile. This works exceptionally well when sipped on its own, or with a splash of ginger beer.
Premium rum of complex pot still rums aged from 3 to 12 years in used whisky and bourbon barrels. Inviting aromas of tropical fruit and spice. Good balance with hints of baked apple, citrus fruits, and roasted nuts. The finish is warm and long with more smoky oak. Enjoy neat.

A blend of 6 to 12-year-old Puerto Rican rum from the Don Q range. At the top end of their range, the Gran Añejo is very exciting stuff indeed. Enjoy neat or even over a few ice cubes on a warm evening.
Aging mellows a spirit. It also brings out new flavors and aromas. Our gran añejo contains a blend of rums aged between 9 and 12 years and Solera rums aged up to 50 years, creating a balance between sweet and dry that you won’t get in other spirits. Drink it on the rocks, drink it neat. If you must, add a splash of ginger. Drink it slowly, and share a moment with your friends.
Huge, indulgent waves of molasses, barrel char, vanilla, and raisin. A touch of tobacco gives it a vegetal edge.
Fruit starts to appear more readily on the palate – less tropical fruits than their other expressions though. More cigar box too.
Drying though rich in vanilla.
