The Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon features attractive fruit characters of ripe cherries, plums, and raspberries, intermingling with complex notes of earth and herb, all with a background of elegant French oak. With a pleasantly opulent body and a lingering finish, this is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon.

While ready to drink now, the Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon will improve with a few years of bottle aging and should remain in outstanding drinking condition for some 10-15 years from harvest. Try pairing the wine with pan-seared strip steaks, grilled rosemary lamb chops, or tofu and wild-mushroom stew.

A supple, mature-tasting red from Israel, delivering a violet-tinged aroma and flavors of red raspberry, damson plum, cream, and spice. Finishes fresh and spicy, with chocolate notes. Kosher. Drink now. 4,000 cases made.

Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon is made from a number of the finest Cabernet vineyards in the Golan Heights. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits ripe red and black fruit characters layered with hints of earth, spices, and French oak.

Full-bodied and aromatic, this wine is complex and elegant. Though enjoyable upon release, the Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon will improve significantly with a few more years of bottle aging and will remain in excellent drinking condition for 10-15 years and beyond.

The wine goes wonderfully with full-flavored dishes such as an herb-crusted leg of lamb, pan-seared ribeye steaks, or duck braised in Merlot with shiitake mushrooms.

Mostly central Golan and Upper Galilee. Aged for 18 months primarily in small French oak barrels. On the palate, Intense ripe blackberry, cherry, cassis, and plum notes with toasty oak, vanilla, and a nuance of spice and tar; full-bodied and concentrated with a long complex finish.
