Brunello Manachiara Is The Wine Of Sunrise, The Wine From The East. Manachiara’s Vineyard Is Located In The East Side Of Montalcino With A South-East Exposure At Approximately 300 M A.S.L. And Composed Of Sands Rich In Quartz And Pliocene Clays. Vines Are Planted Using Training System Of Spurred Cordon With 4,500 Plants Per Hectar. Harvest Is Conducted Manuallly Into Cases In Last Week Of September. The Juice Is Fermented For At Least 25 Days At A Controlled Temperature Of 82°F. After Maceration The Wine Is Matured For 18 Months In French Oak Tonneaux (Allier); Followed By 12 Months In Large Oak Barrels From Slavonia. Finally The Wine Is Bottle Aged For At Least 12 Months.
