Foursquare Rum Vintage 2007 Distillery is one of the world’s most highly respected producers of premium rum. A 2007 vintage rum from Foursquare distillery in Barbados, which marries together a blend of pot and column still rums. The liquid was aged in Barbados in bourbon casks for 12 years, and bottled at a rather punchy cask strength of 59% ABV for the Exceptional Cask Selection. Foursquare Rum Distillery is located on a former sugar plantation that dates back to approximately 1720, within the tiny Caribbean island of Barbados. The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996, and distilling operations and blending are currently directed by Richard Seale, 4th Generation Trader/Distiller of R.L. Seale & Co. They’ve become renowned as one of the most important and diligent distillers of rum in the world. The new single vintage cask strength is a Single Blended Rum from the estate’s traditional pot still and twin column stills.
