Ramazzotti is the oldest genuine House of Amaro, founded in Milan in 1815 by Ausano Ramazzotti. It is rich in quality and history and it has been the 1st to spread the Italian sense of life worldwide. Created by Ausano Ramazzotti in 1815, Ramazzotti can be an apertif or digestive. Made from fruits, roots, spices, and medicinal herbs, Ramazzotti is a sweet and strong drink for when conventional drinks won’t cut the mustard.
Ramazzotti Amaro was created in 1815 by Ausano Ramazzotti who owned an herbalist shop in Milano. The bitter liqueur includes 33 herbs and roots including angelica root, bitter orange, cardamom, clove, galangal, myrrh, rose petals, star anise, sweet orange, and vanilla. Ausano opened up a cafe near La Scala theater where his customers could consume his amaro instead of coffee. Although it was crafted in Milan, it is now produced in Canelli, Piemonte.

Bitter yet sweet, the balance between these two extremes is well held.

The bittersweet tango continues and concludes with a hit of ginger on the finish.
