Lillet Rose Aperitif
The first new product from Lillet Rose Aperitif for more than 50 years, Lillet Rose launched in May 2012. It is best enjoyed neat and well chilled in a small wine glass. Lillet Rose is made from a blend white Grand Cru Bordeaux grape varietals blended with liqueurs before being matured in oak casks. The liqueurs used are flavoured with sweet orange peel from Spain and bitter orange peel from Haiti as well as locally sourced fruit liqueurs from south western France, which along with a small amount of Lillet Rouge add the rose colour. Finally, Peruvian quinine is also added to the blend.
A new product for the 21st century from Lillet Rose Aperitif, on release its first in more than 50 years. It’s a blend of red and white Bordeaux wines mixed with herb and fruit liqueurs before ageing in oak. An exceptional aperitif in the same vein as its rightly famed Blanc and Rouge.
