In the glass, this whiskey from South Carolina has notes of maple syrup, peat, cashew, malt, smoke, and vanilla. The spirit is distilled from sorghum grown on a Mennonite farm in central Tennessee and is incredibly smooth with a long finish. Sip it neat or over a single, large cube of ice for a satisfying dessert cocktail, or mix it in an Old Fashioned, Dark and Stormy or Manhattan. It won a Bronze medal at the 2015 ADI Spirits Competition.
Incredibly smooth with a touch of sweetness, our High Wire Distilling Hometown Whiskey is made from 100% corn and is distilled over 7 times. Perfect in a classic martini or with your favorite tonic, this whiskey is also perfectly sippable over crushed ice with a twist.
Almost a history lesson in a bottle, this was made with four local heirloom grains and finished with Madeira—a fortified wine with deep Charleston history. Look for a woody aroma with a hint of dried fruit. The palate shows a flash of sweetness upfront and a woody midpalate mixed with dark fruit and honey that slides away into a fruitcake-like finish.
