Compass Box The Circle Limited Edition Blended Malt Scotch 750ml
$344.98 $275.98
Compass Box The Circle is based around a parcel of fruity and creamy single malt from the tamdhu distillery in Speyside. This is supported by malt whisky from the clynelish distillery. A touch of peated malt whisky from an Orkney distillery and a small proportion of a french oak-finished blended malt whisky complete the recipe.
We think we’ve achieved exactly what Rosey envisaged. The whisky is bright and warm with a creamy softness. It practically radiates sunlight!
A limited-edition blended malt from Compass Box co-created with Rosey Mitchell, 2018 winner of The Circle, the brand’s global program designed to inspire bartenders. The blend is primarily based around Tamdhu single malt, supported by sherry-aged Clynelish, a peaty Orkney malt, and a French oak-aged Highland malt blend.
A limited-edition blended whisky from popular indie bottler and blender Compass Box, The Circle is a marriage of four different whiskies, matured in different types of casks. The core is a fruity, creamy whisky from Tamdhu distillery, that has been matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel, it is supported by sherry-matured whisky from Clynelish. A smoky edge is provided by whisky from Orkney, matured in a re-charred American oak hogshead, and a lighter element is found in a blended whisky, matured in custom French oak casks.
With whiskies from all over Scotland, this is a rather approachable blend with loads of fruity, creamy notes. As you may be able to tell from the beaming sun in the middle of the label, this was a dram designed for sunny days.
