The Rocher family produces wine at both ends of the Rhône Valley including the villages of Tavel, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Crozes-Hermitage. St-Joseph is famous for a style of Syrah featuring defined fruit, earthiness, and minerals. Eric Rocher wants to make sure you taste the terroir of Sarras, so he follows a non-interventionist model with low-yields, sustainable viticulture, hand picking, de-stemming, temperature-controlled steel fermentation, indigenous yeast, and aging in large wooden vats. This is our kind of Syrah.
