Amrut Aatma Ex-Bourbon Collector Series Single Malt 750ml

Limited release, exclusively selected and bottled for the USA. Only 90 bottles available. Cask #661. 100% Indian barley. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels. Distilled in October 2012 and bottled March 2020. Aatma is a Hindi word meaning “Soul” or “Spirit” which we thought was an appropriate name for a Single Cask offering, as it reflects the soul of the whisky. It is non-chill filtered, and has no colour added. This will be a collector’s portfolio whisky. The climate for whisky aged in Bangalore, India equates to whisky from Scotland that is more than 3 times the actual age. This 7 year old whisky drinks like a 21 year old. Very rare, with only 90 bottles released worldwide.
