Qupe Edna Valley Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard Sonnies 2011 Syrah Wine 750ml

2014 was a warmer than normal vintage, with early bud break and a Harvest that started about a month earlier than normal. We harvested the grapes that eventually went into this wine between September 15th and October 2nd at an average sugar of 24.3° brix, 3.36 pH and 6.9 acidity. We had beautifully ripe stems, so about 60% whole clusters were used… foot stomped at first, followed by manual punch downs twice a day.
