Absolutely clear, on swirling it leaves a a thick clear coat on the inside of the glass and a few legs developing slowly. It is however well blended in that the essential oils do not separate from the alcohol base, a difficult trick when dealing with real, fresh ingredients. Well done!
Roasted coffee with only a hint of alcohol in the background, slightly waxy smell developing, and sweet sugar.
Thick sweet body more of a caramel machiatto body than espresso, sweet coffee taste like the last of a good Cuban coffee.
The initial aroma is firmly structured and a tad baked; following additional air contact the aroma opens up adding charming scents of burnt match, cigar ash, linseed oil and peanuts. The palate entry is smooth and off-dry; by midpalate, flavors expand to include paraffin, creamery butter and vegetable oil. Finishes elegantly and creamy smooth.
