Ron Barcelo Dorado Rum was founded in 1930 under the name Barceló & Co in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. The rum brand quickly grew in popularity growing into one of the largest in the Dominican, and the brand is now exported worldwide to over 20 countries. Ron Barcelo Anejo Rum a superior blend from a select group of premium rums aged naturally for up to four years in American oak barrels.

Bright amber color. Aromas of butter with caramelized nuts, wood, and fruit cake followed by a round moderately deep entry to the palate with a medium-dry creamy body. Toasted flavor with a light hint of green fruits and a slightly spicy finale.

Smooth and ready-to-mix, this rum shows an enticing golden hue. It is aged naturally in oak barrels for at least 18 months. Mostly mixed to obtain the cocktail of your choice.

In 1950, after years of experimentation launching different brands in the local market, the company managed to reach its highest level in terms of product: launching the Ron Barcelo Dorado Rum brand with its Barceló Blanco and Dorado products, which immediately had a great welcome. About 20 years later, the company incorporated Ron Barceló Añejo into its portfolio.

Palate: Rich crème bruleé and molasses upfront with dried apricot and pineapple, French vanilla bean reminiscent of toasted marshmallow, balanced by a hint of dry green olive midpalate.

Finish: Peppery winter spice with a hint of mint on the finish.
