Indian barley and charred American oak casks work in harmony here, with lots of barley sugar and honeyed notes to enjoy.

A fruity, lively unpeated single malt from Indian distillery Paul John. Aromas of fruitcake, honeycomb and caramel fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of apricots, raisins, honey, apples and salted caramel.

Paul John Nirvana is a no-age statement single malt from the Indian brand. It is unpeated and made from Indian six-row barley. Aged in charred American oak and bottled at 40% ABV with no added color or flavorings.

Paul John Nirvana is an unpeated single malt expression crafted from Indian six-row barley and matured in charred American oak casks. It contains no artificial additives and is bottled at 80 proof. You can expect rich and fruity aromas ranging from fruitcake and caramel to notes of honey, apricots, raisins, apples and salted caramel, as well as a hint of brine on the palate. The honey stays on through the very long finish and is joined by a dash of vanilla.

Nose:

Treacle and butterscotch, with baked pineapple, sweet malt and fig.

Palate:

Honeyed cinnamon and barley sugar, with a smidge of salt bringing balance alongside ripe orchard fruit.

Finish:

Crystallised ginger lingers alongside vanilla and milk chocolate.
