Made with Jamaican molasses, our 100% fine Jamaican rum is expertly boiled, fermented, and distilled using both column and pot stills. Matured for up to 4 years in white oak barrels, our rum adds a delicious kick to cocktails and traditional cooking recipes. Simply add with cola and pour over ice for a classic mixed drink.
The pre-eminent cocktail dark rum, Myer’s has retained its original bottle shape and tagline, ‘World Famous, Dark and Mellow’ for several decades. Found in good bars the world over.
All Myers’s Rum is made from Jamaican sugarcane juice that is boiled into molasses, fermented, and then distilled using both continuous and pot still distillation.
Myers’s Rum is enjoyed in cocktails and mixers, but also is a favorite for cooking and baking.
The initial inhalations expose a moderately spicy, black peppercorn perfume; aeration brings about flax, cooked vegetables, and brown sugar. The platform flavor is intensely cocoa-like, then at midpalate, the taste leaps into deeper cocoa/bittersweet chocolate territory before turning lean and keenly bittersweet, oily, and chocolaty in the finish.
Mahogany and charred wood aromas lead into a thick entry.
Mildly sweet, with a moderately full-bodied palate and hints of dark caramel and toasted coconut husks.
