Luksusowa Potato Vodka 1.75 L

The Luksusowa Potato Vodka Myth It Is Often Said That Vodka Has No Taste. Quite The Opposite Is True. Some Vodkas Have A Great Deal Of Taste. A Harsh Taste With A Powerful Kickback. Others Have No Distinct Character And Are Barely Discernable From One Another.

Luksusowa Potato Vodka the Polish word for “luxury”, has a superior taste that is a result of its potato-base. Most domestic vodkas are distilled from corn, most imported vodkas from rye. But Luksusova is painstakingly made from Poland’s select potato crop grown exclusively in the Baltic coast region of North Poland. It takes ten times more potatoes than it would take of grain to make Luksusova, the preferred vodka of people who can taste and appreciate the smoother texture and richer taste.
Clear. Aromas of cream pie, nougat, and toast with a silky smooth, dryish medium body and a delicate vanilla soufflé, sweet grass, and peppery spice finish. A superbly balanced and lively vodka that will be great in martinis.

Crystal clear, no sediment whatsoever. On swirling, it leaves a thin clear coat on the inside of the glass forming a crenelated edge with some legs and lots of small droplets – this seems to be a familiar pattern with potato vodka.  A crystal clear viscous pool in the glass.

First Impression:

A slightly sweet smell to it, slight alkaline smell . Rounder, deeper smell than a grain vodka.

Sweet and slightly oily on the tongue, medium body. Crisp, mild bite to it on the edges of your tongue. A slight  warming of  alcohol as it goes down the throat, with lingering warmth and tingle to the lips. Chilling accentuates the sweetness and body.
