Lepanto Solera is the only brandy to be distilled in the city of Jerez. Established in 1886, the company’s brandies are all made from Palomino grapes and aged for 15 years, the difference being the cask used. This Solera Gran Reserva is matured in Oloroso Viejo (old) casks, leading to a dry and elegant delicious brandy.
A Spanish brandy from Gonzalez Byass matured in casks that previously held Oloroso Sherry. Sure to be incredibly flavorsome, with seductive grace from the brandy and rich sweetness from the Oloroso Sherry cask maturation.
40% abv – 100% palomino fino. Aged for 15 years on average in American oak casks, previously used following the traditional solera system. In the case of Lepanto Solera, the alcohol spirit is aged for twelve years in the casks previously used for Tio Pepe and then for a further three years in casks previously used for aging old dry olorosos.
it shows an intense amber color with dark copper tones. On the nose complex aromas with hints of nuts, spices, and mature wood. On the palate intense and extremely dry, however, maintaining an elegant smoothness. This brandy is to be meditated in a brandy glass. Ideal to be enjoyed with a good cigar or cured manchego cheese.

Lepanto Oloroso Viejo has bright pale mahogany with large flashes iodinated its rim.
Nose:
Sleek and thin nose with floral notes, caramel, raisins, chocolate, ripe plums, and honey Findo envelope and smoky notes.
Taste:
Taste serious, very dry, and great structure on the palate with roasted nuts and wood notes, with soft tannins and a long finish strong and concentrated. Exceptional.
