Royal Seal Vodka Jos. A. Magnus & Co.
Royal Seal Vodka is crafted to blend seamlessly with accompanying cocktail elements. Without an overpowering ethanol flavor typically found with other vodkas, it distilled seven times from 100% corn and features a light, Bergamot orange finish that lends a smoothness to the palate at 80 proof.
Created By Distiller Nicole Hassoun, Royal Seal Vodka Is A Perfect Cocktail Vodka And Is So Smooth It Is Great Straight. Slight Citrus Nose, Smooth Clean Finish, Perfect In A Martini.
Magnus Royal Seal Vodka is produced out of the District of Columbia in their Ivy Street distillery. We guess it is a grain-based vodka.
Jos. A. Magnus lays claims to a distilling tradition that began in 1892 and was “reestablished” in 2015. It is founded by Jimmy Turner, the great-grandson of Joseph A. Magnus. Turner came upon the idea in 2007, according to the write-up in Washington City Paper (Jessica Sidman), and put together a team of distillery experts to help found the business, including notables from Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace among others. Currently, they bottle and blend other spirits but have plans to produce their own whiskey sometime in the future.
The nose shows a classic hallmark of rich caramel, but also reveals some Fruity notes.
The palate scales the heights with a glossy smooth texture upfront.
