Familiar maple syrup color and vanilla and oak flavor, good dose of alcohol burn. Finishes relatively dry, with some vanilla and caramel. Jack and Coke is the classic combo.
he name Jack Daniel has become synonymous with whiskey, particularly in Tennessee, but the Jack Daniel was born Jasper Newton Daniel in 1850 on a farm in Moore County, Tennessee. As a young man, he moved to Lynchburg and worked various odd jobs, including the operation of a whiskey still.
The original all-conquering cola-friendly colossus, Jack Daniel’s No. 7 commands a legion of fans worldwide, thanks to the sweet smoothness imparted by the Lincoln County Process of charcoal-mellowing the spirit before maturation.
Mellowed drop by drop through 10-feet of sugar maple charcoal, then matured in handcrafted barrels of our own making. And our Jack Daniel’s Black Label Whiskey doesn’t follow a calendar. It’s only ready when our tasters say it is. We judge it by the way it looks.
