The original Chateau Arton Blanche Armagnac. In 1985, Patrick de Montal first opted to bottle the freshly distilled wine coming from the still – prior to being officially allowed to use the name Armagnac – and called it “Fine Blanche”. Patrick then started working with the French government to expand the AOC, Blanche Armagnac being allowed on the label in 2005.

From estate-grown wines, the first Blanche Armagnac. First bottled in 1982, this spirit carries the character of the fresh wine it is distilled from. A unique substitute for vodka, gin & other white spirits. 2017 Prix d’Excellence – Best Brandy producer in France.

Chateau Arton presents a line of entire estate-grown Armagnacs coming from the rare and distinctive Haut Appellation. “Grown, not produced” and created by two icons in the world of Armagnac, Patrick de Montal and his wife Victoire de Montesquiou at their home near Lectoure, France.

In 2017, Château Arton was awarded the highest honor in France – The Prix d’Excellence, by the French Ministry of Agriculture. Over 22,000 products were submitted – Arton having been selected as the best Brandy, not just Armagnac, in all of France.

This unaged spirit has become the darling of the craft cocktail bartender – a unique substitute for Vodka, Gin, Rum, and other classic white spirits, but bringing the full character of the fresh wine. Distilled entirely from wines produced from their own vines, in the extremely small and rare sub-region of Haut Armagnac. A distinctive, unique, and transformative ingredient, to be enjoyed chilled neat, with tonic, or in any number of the creative cocktail applications.

The mildly floral aroma gives a hint of what’s to come. The soft, slick palate opens with an armload of violets and rose petals and exits with peppery heat and a honeyed fade.
